This came out in 1951. It was the B side of Because of You and as a result it didn't get very much attention. A shame really because IMO it is every bit as great a song. Of course Because of You became a smash hit for Tony Bennett and I Wont Cry Anymore was all but lost to history.

Better than "Because of you"...Saw him sing this up at Palisades Amusement Park back in 52 for the price of admission to the park. Fantastic.

I'll add my 2 cents worth. I think it was almost as important as "Because Of You". I remember it being played by several DJs in the Wash., DC area back in the early 50s & I liked it almost as much as the 'A' side; and a great arrangement by Percy Faith, who arranged a lot of Bennett's hits.

I did a little research and you are correct. The song came out in 1951 but I believe it wasn't pressed on a 45 until 1953. I don't think it's that important an issue but thanks for clearing up the discrepancy.
