I've been a life-long Genesis fan and I remember buying this record in Vancouver just before I saw the movie "The Shout" at an arts film cinema.(this record was the soundtrack). I have to confess that that movie nearly gave me an anxiety attack. As a young man of 19, in my first real relationship I was unprepared for the archetype of the demon lover. Alan Bates scared me to my core. I can't listen to "A Curious Feeling" without being reminded of the psychological trauma of seeing that film.
