Tommy plays "Guitar Boogie" on a vintage Gibson Kalamzoo guitar from the 1930's. The guitar was amplified with a ribbon microphone, the same type of mic used in the '30's.

The guitar was a gift from a Dutch fan of Tommy's who has since passed on.

This clip was recorded at a concert in Norman Oklahoma on October 5th, 2008. I put an old time effect on the video at the beginning and end to pay tribute to the old Kalamazoo.

I was very fortunate to attend this concert and even more so as Tommy agreed to met me behind stage about 10 minuts befor the concert began. Many thanks to one of his stage hands who took the time to arrange this meeting.Tommy has been my inspiration and his music has been my sole support since loosing my wife and only son within 6 months of each other . I got a warm welcome and kind words from the man who can only be described as a truly caring person as well as a most talented musician..

Nicest acoustic I've heard Tommy play, beautiful and no string rattle. Lovely story about the guitar, thanks for posting. Tommy is one of a very rare breed., saw him in Lodon a couple of days a go, fantastic.

I could tell at the concert that Tommy was very fond of your family and your late husband. He plays the Kalamazoo because it is a cool guitar and also as a tribute to your husband

Now THAT is awesome. Great tempo, and Tommy just plays really well here. Guitar sounds great. Tommy goes a bit overkill on this song sometimes I think, but this version is simply awesome. Very groovy.
