and so, in the midst of Oddfellows, a lot of these comments just look dumb. This was a great album, in parts, and Oddfellows is just fantastic. Yeah, I doubted this when it came out and it only grew on me recently, but panning it and saying "ooh Patton's losing it blah blah blah" was just so premature. If you take your head out of your hole, or imagination land where everything meets your divine imagination and actually accept the work for what it is and enjoy it, you'll see that records just come and go and really good work/artists speak for themselves. Hm, sorry but... It was Duane Denison's idea to make such a record. He was touring with Hank Williams III and stumbled upon those native american compositions and melodies. Even if Patton supposedly has strong native american roots, it wasn't his idea.

He didn't WRITE the album. He went camping on Indian reservations and learned all their songs. That's why the album is called Anonymous, because all the songs are written by unknown artists.

did not buy anything....this alblum compared to MT GAS is pretty lame and you know it....in fact the other band members did not want to do this either which eventualy led to their break up...patton is a great artist but he has too many projects going on which is spreading himself too thin...he is making crap

FNM reunited and are playing shows, trey spruance played the entire king for a day album with fnm. and all the members of bungle played a show together performing for john zorn.

I heard they were and then there not...I would like to see them back together and continue making music similar to there first two alblums...that would be nice, but patton has an ego thats hard to work with ...stainer ,denison and rutmanis all three have stated that ...bungy from F.N.M. can't stand him...patton is a musical genius but also a spoiled rotten little brat that thinks the world evolves around him ...and that will be his down fall
