On the Saturday of the prestigious Reading Festival 2013, we had the privilege of interviewing guitarist Duane Dennison of legendary alternative rock supergroup Tomahawk!
Tomahawk formed in 2000, and are made up of Mike Patton (Faith No More / Fantomas / Mr Bungle), guitarist Duane Dennison (The Jesus Lizard), drummer John Stanier (Helmet), and bassist Kevin Rutmanis (Melvins / Cows) (who has now been replaced on bass by Trevor Dunn of Fantomas / Mr Bungle).
Since their formation, they have released four critically acclaimed albums, the latest being their much applauded 'Oddfellows' LP on Ipecac Recordings.
In this interview we talk about all things Tomahawk, The Jesus Lizard reformation, festival chat, and a whole bunch of really, really random things like marriage, hillbillies, and Helen Flanagan...?! No, seriously. You will not believe what transpires; watch below!
