I used to listen to an eclectic radio station called KFAT out of Gilroy, CA (garlic capital of the world). They played a unique mix of country, bluegrass, folk, blues, comedy, etc. Very strange station. But it was the best one on the radio in my area. Unfortunately they got sold out and converted to a different format in 1983. The last night they were on the air they had a "wake" and played all of the best songs they had played over the years. The very last song they played was this one, Tom T. Hall's "Last Country Song". "They've broken the last country heart."
