No. Sinatra nor Sills( a fine tenor) come close to this. The reason being BOTH Sinatra and Sills though crystal clear in delivery, come across rather bland and dry. Nary a sense of feeling, the EMOTION that this type of composition requires.Jones delivers here because the emotional content comes through in this interpretation very effectively.

I agree with Thomas below. This is absolutely revolting. And yes, Zelma, everyone is entitled to an opinion But - if you want really beautiful - Douglas Sills with the Boston Pops 2002. It's here on Youtube. Not only a superb tenor, but wonderful eye candy too (lol).
