This has to be of the most honest Christian songs I've heard. We always hear the worship songs that make you feel good, but this song is very deep and very honest. Not a "feel good" song, but being a Christian isn't always about feeling good.

Probably my favorite song of Agnew's.

Thanks for this - I was looking for a copy without all the pictures of 'Jesus' that aren't really Jesus at all.

*Not expecting alot of **+1s** for this one, as G+ tends to not be very pro Christian...*But this is a great tune & was the one that hooked me a few years ago. This is the tune that *flipped the switch* that made alot of stuff clear for me... I knew I didn't wanna be like so many other Christians I grew up around. I didn't want to be a closed-minded idiot. I always felt like Jesus was actually nothing like what most of you on here believe he is or whatever. He's not a prick. He's not about getting even, giving you what you deserve, punishing you, etc.By the way, this isn't a *troll post* so don't troll, either. If you don't believe then simply reserve comment. I do it all the time;-) Like I said, G+ isn't the most friendly environment for a Christian:-) #ToddAgnew #MyJesus

much deeper than contemporary. Christian music seems to have fallen prey to the same industry as mainstream. This is beautiful! All of his songs hold the power to cause the worst of us to seek redemption.

@joesluckyseven Forget the song, what's the difference between a command & a law? Both can be broken. The 10 Commandments were indeed, laws. Jesus said n John 14:15 "If you love me, you will obey what I command." There is a great apostasy these days, a falling away from the Truth. Jesus warned He will tell many, ".Depart! I never knew ye..." for they didn't obey Him, &therefore, didn't love Him. I pray for all sinners blind to the real truth. Rev 22: 13-21. I'm merely prophesying

Read the gospels, and the rest of the New Testament for that matter. We are not called to obey the law. We are called to share the love of Christ with a lost and dying world. Our lifestyle is a response to our relationship with Christ, not observance of the law. Jesus Christ was and is the fulfillment of the law.

@ProphecySDarko The purpose of the law was to prove our need for Christ. We are not saved by the law or to the law. Salvation allows us the opportunity to have fellowship with God, the privilege that our sin prevented. I don't hear anything in this song about observing the law.

Todd picked up where Rich Mullins left off.

Have you heard the acoustic version of this song? It's pretty amazing. On a more relevant, I want to be like my Jesus. He would probably rather hang out in the bars and pubs ministering to the drunks and prostitutes than in many American churches trying to get a single word in to the stubborn and hard-hearted religious who think they have it all together. We can watch this video all we want and say "hallelujah" and "amen" but it means nothing unless we live it.

That verse *is* in this version of this song.

God has given Todd a gift. I believe that Christ speaks through this song.
