This is my least favorite Sprocket song but, in spite of this, I came to appreciate this band quite a bit with their later singles. I first heard this on WFNX a soon to be defunct alternative Boston radio station. Thanks Sprocket and thanks WFNX for all the happy memories and great songs.

@JRNYman actually "Bread And Circus" was recorded in 1987 at Camp David, David Vaught's tract house studio in Thousand Oaks, CA. I have rough 1987 mixes from the sessions that the guys passed around to get gigs before the album was completed. the album was released in 1988 on cassette and sold at shows and Columbia signed the band in late 89 just after "Pale" had been recorded, and re-released "Bread And Circus" in late 89 just prior to issuing "Pale" in January of 1990
