I first heard Tish Hinojosa sing on Austin City Limits (I think) many years ago. She was introduced and they said her name, and then this angel came out and started singing with a pure voice that blew me away. But at the end of the show there were no credits. So I went to Tower Records to find her. First I looked under "I". Then I looked under "E". Then I looked under "Y". Then I looked under "J". All I knew was that the guy said "ee-nuh-hoce-uh". Finally I looked under "H" and there she was. Over the years I proceeded to buy just about everything she created. This song is "Song For The Journey", which she wrote, from the album "Sign of Truth". I think she rivals Alison Krauss for purity of voice. What a treasure!

I had the privilege to hear Tish in Berwyn, Illinois along with my dad and younger daughter. Our table was close to the stage and she actually joined us between sets. She made at least three lifelong fans that night. I won't ever forget her! Bless her heart...12 years ago

Interesting. I've never tried that with my videos, turning off the sound and just looking at the images. When I make these videos I painstakingly try to match the images up to the lyrics. It never dawned on me to turn off the sound so I can just focus on the lyrics and the images. The music is almost a little bit of a distraction, although ultimately it's the most important part. But I can always add that in at the end. Thanks for the idea!12 years ago
