Sharp's work graced Tiny Tim Rocks, a disappointing mélange of the singer's high falsetto and ill-fitting hard rock. In 1989 his version of AC/DC 's 'Highway To Hell' was released to modest sales. During the 90s known as Mr. Tim, the singer returned to the USA to live in Des Moines, Iowa, 'because it's clean.' In 1993 he married for a third time, he and 'Miss Sue'lived in Minneapolis until his death in 1996.

I'll never forget sometime around 1983-4 when I was stationed at Blytheville AFB in Ark. I was kneel in front on the magazine rack thumbing thru a mag in the local Piggly Wiggly when I looked to my right and saw this big guy with wild ass hair,another guy and a woman. I looked up at my GF and said just a bit to loud...." Look at this goofey fucker". And they gave me a nasty look. I realized who he was when they made a big deal at the register.9 years ago
