For all that the guys did and have subsequently recorded, I think it was night impossible for them to beat this work, 'Tumbleweed' and the double album - you can't been sheer brilliance and total talent shown in these legendary offerings. Respectfully, the 13 people people who have offered the thumbs down for track know nothing about music. They are entitled to their opinion of course but do they realise just how much work goes into creating a masterpiece like this?

''Madman' in its entirety is a masterpiece. Loved all things Sir Elton up until Caribou, which is his 'jumping the shark' moment for me. The beginning of the slick top 40 sound. I prefer this introspective Elton/Bernie collaboration over everything he has ever done, but prior to the aforementioned Caribou, he was on my turntable with all previous albums.
