From Tina's Superb selftitled debut album 1995

With 6 Michael J. Powell Productions the remix of this song became a dancefloor filler from 1997 on.

Albumreview by Alex Henderson

Many of the urban contemporary singers who made their recording debuts in 1995 went out of their way to be as hip-hop as possible, but not Tina Moore. Instead of emulating Mary J. Blige or the members of TLC and En Vogue, Tina Moore favors more of an "Anita Baker meets Whitney Houston" approach on this self-titled debut album. Six of the ten tracks were produced by Michael J. Powell (who is known for his work with Baker), including the melancholy single "Color Me Blue." Definitely a gem, "Color Me Blue" is the best thing on the CD, although her remake of Harry Warren's "At Last" runs a close second. Unfortunately, Moore didn't have another label to go to when her relationship with Scotti Bros. ended, and six years later, she had yet to provide another full-length album.

They don't make music like this anymore. Good music ceased after 2003 ended. 2004 is where music went downhill. With that being said, LONG LIVE OLD SCHOOL MUSIC FROM 1970-2003.

So effortlessly cool - smooth and silky. Still sounds as it good as the first I heard it.

This was just simply a classic. Too bad Tina Moore didn't really get a chance to show off her skills. Very similar to Toni Braxton's 'I Belong To You' (Soulpower Rollerskate Mix) and came out around the same time that Braxton's single was out. Unfortunately, a lack of marketing is what sealed her fate. There is a major difference from LaFace and Scotti Bros. Ask Sweet Sable.

I swear on everything I can die in peace, now that I've found this song! There are some songs that I spent literally about 20 years trying to find out who sang it. This was literally THE last song that I have spent—since 1995—trying to track down... just shy of 20 years! I remember hearing this song several times during the summer of 1996, but I was young and never recalled hearing a name of who sang it. I have asked over and over again on every place imaginable, who sang this song! All I remembered was "Never gonna let you go, cus you're my baby..." but the rest of the words I couldn't figure out. I found some forum just now and someone mentioned this artist and the song name. Ran to YouTube and VIOLA! I feel complete now! Great 90s jam!
