While the 1960 film is still the best I really thought the 2002 film was good,didnt really deserve the bad press.

Also...since, if time travel were possible, all points in time would coexist simultaneously but separately...time travel would've already been invented in the future and most likely been found out by someone in some previous time they've traveled to. No matter how good a temporo-anthropologist might be at "blending in"...they'll make a mistake, and someone will notice before it gets cleaned up.

If you go back to the past...then everything at that point in the past is up for grabs again. All quantum events become "random" again and could go either way. As for your existence (should you prevent your own birth or whatnot), you're safe. If you were still in the future, you'd be in trouble, but you're not, you're in the past. Anything that affects the future no longer has anything to do with you because you already left. Frame of reference.

Time-travel does not even exist in anything else then the future! and what do you mean "they got time travel wrong? Do you mean the paradoxon problem, that you can not travel into your own past to change the past which caused you to build a time machine in this case?... A paradoxon is not possible, so there must be another way of how nature would solve that problem or it is simply impossible...however it is all just theory!

the first half of the movie is close to perfect on my opinion, but the second half with murlocs and no time travel just ruins it

Fair to say that it didn't have a perfect story or actors (except for Jeremy Irons), but to say that the score was the only good thing? Not even close. It was still a great movie...even though they got time travel all wrong. But that's ok, cuz no book, show, or movie has gotten it right yet.

The beauty of this movie was that it set my soul alight when I saw how the world changed during this music. The voyage of time itself. Feeling above the Earth, in the stars. We're all shooting to the pinnacle of our humanity as we listen to this, as we search to the great beyond. =)

Flawless, the best of the best of movie soundtracks! This one takes the cake of all time being up there with Star Wars, Superman, Indiana Jones, Lord of The Rings etc., perhaps being even better than these in my honest opinion!!! Pure eargasm of delightful enjoyment with all the unique and different instrumental pieces perfectly arranged and timed at the right moment to give a sense of time travel and being in another dimension
