Robert is still one of the great and underrated players of all time in my opinion. My first Til Tuesday show i went liking the music a lot but within minutes I remember thinking this guitarist is amazing with a phenominal sound . very textural with the leslies and every note and chord he plays is perfect for the song and well crafted. Don't overlook the writing he did for all of the bands work. Check out his work with Ultra Blue.

this song features robert's wall of sound guitar style,similar to U2's guitarist,the edge.just to be clear,this came before that.at early live gigs it was loud,all encompassing and huge.these guys had such a unique, strong,clean,emotional sound.they should have stayed together.

this song was always played at their early live shows.i followed them around a lot back then.they had such a unique sound,nothing else was close.the raw power of roberts guitar sound and style was awesome.they would play loud and hard.they had quite a dedicated fan base at these early shows,mostly boston gigs at places like jonathan swifts,the rathskeller,the channel,etc.the unreleased gems like,boy,learning you by heart,just like me,are you serious(released),were the best.i miss them!

I love Til Tuesday!..I only listen to new wave, So I cant compare her newer solo stuff to her with the band. Aimee's voice is amazing regardless, but the whole band was great.I wish these unreleased tracks had made it onto the album.

Aimee's best music has come from her solo career; in fact, the movie Magnolia was written around her songs. How often is a movie written to include songs that have already been recorded? Check out "save me," and "wise up."

Completely agree with you. A lot of the live stuff they did from this period (that never made it on an album) is better than most of the VC album.
