Opening act was the Pixies, two months after Surfrt Rosa came out. This band got huge in London, yet in Providence and Boston in '88 we were still watching them in The Living Room and other small clubs. Seriously one of the most underrated bands of that era.

It's like- this song, Bea and Dragonhead are the songs that justify Hunkpapa's existence. I got Kristin good at a show once. She was doing an intro to her next song, saying she didn't understand why people kept asking her to play it all the time, and that she didn't relate to it anymore (turns out she was talking about "The Letter" -awesome song) I couldn't help it, I yelled out "Dizzy", and you should have seen the look of horror and disgust that came across her face!

No Morrissey for me either thank you. I would say Kristin, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Richard Thompson, Neil Peart. Just some of my storyteller in song people. They have something to say and an opinion that you can agree or disagreee with. They are all ok either way. I love that! Maybe also Robert Smith, Diamanda Galás, Blixa Bargeld, Scott Walker.

I am always amazed by this song. Kristin was so young when she wrote this, and the experience of what she went through is obviously deep and profound. She still needs to sing this song today, and it is still so powerful to the listener, and painful when you know why. It imprints itself upon your very being. It feels like electrical current in my soul everytime I hear it. No wonder so many feel like they were saved by this band. This woman. She probably really saved people from 'shock therapy'.

Everytime I see them, I both love and hate this song. Love beacause it's so god damned good and sounds insane live in the club, but hate because they always close the show with it. New muses coming in 2013, meaning tour and if you've never seen them, go. It's such a fucking treat, and they respect their catalog, expect favorites from every album, as well as b-sides. Fucking brilliant band

@MckyMseNTarotCrds I don't rate either Bob Dylan or Morrissey but to each his own. I'd say Lou Reed, David Byrne and Kristen.

How can people not like Hunkpapa when it has this song on it?
