To this day, I still don't think I've ever heard gated cymbals like they did on this album. Has anyone else noticed that? They just go "CHAHH" and cut off. That, or he uses 6 different china cymbals. Anyway, this is still my favorite album by this band.

I'm now hooked to this band. I just discovered Kristin Hersh, after volunteering as an usher at her concert. I liked what she played so I only researched her on wiki afterwards, and found that she was in this band with Tanya Donnelly whom I was familiar with for her band Belly and small stint in The Breeders.

I remember seeing this video twice on 120 minutes. The first time I saw it I was so hypnotized I didn't catch their name. I waited all week hoping to see it again. Once I knew their name I was able to find The Real Ramona, Hunkpapa, House Tornado and finally the self titled debut. It was awhile before I finally found The Fat Skier and Chains Changed. I just love KH, TM, 50'~ and am impatiently waiting for Outros!

Some dispute this, rightfully so..... And a very disputed topic. Sure, Hunkpapa, Skier, Tornado, Doghouse encompass all things "muses", but this song is a definitive example of a maturation of "muses". A masterpiece
