As evidenced by the fact that they left a major label and have lost fans with every release since Illusion of Safety, its obvious Thrice did the opposite of sell out- their appeal truly became more selective.

It's at the end. Don't you dare crush peoples dreams! The acoustic version of "opaque" is also at the end. Now go to bed.

It kinda sounds like NoFx... Listening to this makes me think about the transformation Thrice has gone through over the years. It's interesting how they found their sound by experimenting on Artist In The Ambulance...... A great album which was the beginning of the original signature Thrice sound.

@Kenjuu i dont know about Alexisonfire but you are soooo wrong about avenged sevenfold, to call City of Evil or Nightmare a sellout is like calling Justin Bieber metal

@prshortpants Yeah, I do still have respect for Thrice as artsists, but Avenged Sevenfold are sellouts and they never even wanted to scream in the first place. Alexisonfire I'm not as sure about, I guess they just gradually lost the passion they had in their first album.

@Kenjuu I feel pretty much the same, only despite my initial dissapointment, Thrice's new work has grown on me. I'd also like to point out that whether it's your taste in music or not, at least Thrice's new stuff is undeniably artistic while the other bands you mentioned simply changed styles (for the worse IMO)
