His voice kind of reminds me of Barry Hay's (Golden Earring)

This was surprisingly good, it's a lot more brutal than the original.

The original is so much better. This has completely lost the feelimy and soul of the first song and it sounds like the singer is choking on a beavers dick, but it does sound better with a heavier guitar.

This is a brilliant song sang by Threshold. Bellamy just sounds like a helium induced acid addict. Made a boring song great. Now that's talent!

oh, i was referring to your "hardcore guitar" reference. I'm a hardcore Muse fan myself. I think I'm a little obsessed at times. I know Muse does a live cover of "Dracula Mountain" by Lightning Bolt. Nowhere near as good at Lightning Bolt's original. I guess I have some problems with bands covering other artist songs. The only cover that I really like is Tool's rendition of Led Zeppelin's "No Quarter".

I said "Muse fan", not "music fan." Hardcore was describing my being a fan of the band, not the music I listen to.

I think your definition of "hardcore" might be slightly off compared to what hardcore music really sounds like. Try "Dillinger Escape Plan" for starters. To me this is pop metal for radio.

that's impossible.

It's a pretty awesome version, but no one sings a Muse song like Bellamy.

Exactly like if Jon Bon Jovi sang it.

as its fans support that makes bands famous, they sort of do need to impress him. I wouldnt have heard of them if it wasnt for muse, maybe they should work on impressing people a little more. p.s shit cover
