Roll Over was meant to be released as single, but Bailey had a nervous breakdown a few weeks before release. Future Days album was pretty much completed with Alex Sadkin as producer. Bailey was apparently not happy with the album and this was a huge contributing factor to his nervous breakdown. This prompted the the record company to bring in Nile Rogers to rework the material. This is why there are both Sadkin and Nile Rogers versions of lay your hands and king for a day floating around.

3:25 Sounds like they could have gone into another cool song! I haven't listened to the album, does it follow in to the next song?

this is why i SO love the 80's. I learned of the thompson twins via mtv in the early days. I wished I'd experienced going to their concerts and all, shoot, i missed how we used to dress in the 80's!

I had considered in passing what effect buying multiple albums might have on actual sales, must confess until youtube.com I did just that, I think you have a very vailid point that billboard and the recording artist industry dont want to think about, not that they care if the albums sell right LOL later

@aramanth Yes...Ah vinyl...Got my vinyl copy of this Album on the deck right now...I think the mix you're on about is on the Free 5 track remix Album that came included with this one...The first track on the B side is called 'Kiss' but seems to be an amazing extended remix of 'Tokyo' and the second track called 'Dessert Dancing' and seems to be Breakaway right through same as normal then extended at the end...Yeah listening now...It is AMAZING!!! :)

Fantastic...Got my Identical Vinyl Album of this on the deck right now....The little round sticker on the front says "Includes Free 5-Track Album of Re-Mixes 207 164" Love Breakaway and Tokyo which preceeds Breakaway on the Album...They roll nicely into each other and almost seem like one track. The remix Album is superb too...You'll never get those mixes on iTunes...haha!!!

I tell you the rating sometimes are never disclosed to the public. I can't tell you how I and many others I have met over the years who have bought repeatedly these albums, giving these away, only to buy again and again, even a few hundred thousand doing this would impact what those actual sales audits actually show.
