@romeropablo That was my point, exactly. I said he stole it from himself, which isn't really stealing. I was not accusing Mr. Dolby of theft; I was just pointing out that he used a brilliant groove of his own invention in two different places.

@WeenerBiscuit Thomas Dolby WAS THE PRODUCER for Whodini. So, He did not stole anything. He use that riff for "Mr Magic's Wand".

Thomas Dolby stole this groove, but since he stole it from himself, there's no real crime. The fundamentals of this song are the same as he used in the old-school rap classic "Magic's Wand" by Whodini.
