Ahh, I just read your comment below where you said it was from the latter double cd of Atlantic Crossing. That makes sense. This one's okay but I miss the backing vocals - they were always my favourite part to sing along to. ;-)

I don't recognize this version from the original Atlantic Crossing album? The version I had on my record in the seventies was this one: Rod Stewart -- This Old Heart of Mine with the cool female bv's.

He really must have loved this song he covered it twice,once in the 70's and tried it aging in the 80's .I lkied the second oe better,However there is nothing like the original by the Isley brothers You really feel it and its just a great sound.
