FOOĹS!!YOU HAVE NO PERCEPTION. I cant believe so many people like this ! I first listened to this on LSD . Talk about scab on my brain. Love it but i hate when the bible thumps start gumping on it like oh john 1234 . Trying to say they figured it out bcuz they believe in god . It gets irritating . The story is true , with some exaggeration. But the point of this superstar movie is to look at religion and say. Wtf ? This could have happened anywhere at anytime .... but why did you choose such a backward time ? In such a strange land ?

Is it me or does Caiaphas sound a LOT like Vincent Price?

One of my absolute favorite singers in this show is that pharisee who says, "What then to do about Jesus of Nazareth?!" That dude is amazing. Every line he sings is awesome.

I'd like to see an AMV of this song where it's being sung by the Student Council of Ohtori Academy about Utena.

I am participating in yearly Bible studies these days and am amazed at how often I find myself digging this old album out as it relates to the lessons. Ian Gillam rocked, they all did! I never got into the remakes and movies by comparison.Back in the day I could sing every word. Then I hit puberty and my voice cracked. ha ha Notwithstanding being raised Catholic, becoming an altar boy and all that early Parochial Schooling experience - since 1971 when I got it for Christmas, this album was easily the biggest religious influence in my life. Love it to this day. Testament to the power of music and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Not in that order of course, but it's all worked out well for me and I highly recommend it. As Tiny Tim would say, "God Bless us, every one!"

Contrary to everyone, I prefer the film with Bald Annas, this is dog shit.

Never fail to be amazed at how poor the recording of this album was. Shame, considering the performances.Dreadful edits all over the place, nevermind the karaoke style mixes.

much MUCH better than the squeeky 'helium' voices in the movie. that is for sure. * * * * *

Think of how much blood & destruction has been done in the name of Jesus Christ in the last 2000 years.
