You've got the power. You've got the power, ahoy..I-been to so many different places,Not knowing just what I'd find, yea.I seen so many different faces,But they always stay fresh in my mind. Some of them seem so lonely,Trying to make it on their own.Wondering where to turn to,Knowing you can't make no blood out of stone.People everywhere, they just want to be free; But they find it so hard to be what they gotta be.Gotta be the teachings of their society, yea.Brother you've got the power, to make a change.Sister you've got the power, to rearrange.Brother you've got the power, to make a change.Sister you've got the power, to rearrange.I've been through hard time decisions,When I could not tell right from wrong. But at the end of my destination,I've found out that's just where I belong.People everywhere, they just want to be free; But they find it so hard to be what they gotta be.Gotta be the teachings of their society, yea.Brother you've got the power, to make a change.Sister you've got the power, to rearrange.Brother you've got the power, to make a change.Sister you've got the power, to rearrange.Brother you've got the power, to make a change.Sister you've got the power, to rearrange.Brother you've got the power, to make a change.Sister you've got the power, to rearrange..

People everywhere they JUST WANT TO BE FREE ! but we find it so hard to be what we got to be ! I had been to Jamaica many times in the early 80's, made many friends there and had a real meeting with the people not some jive vacation and Ye i am white american girl, like it mattered..the people of Jamaica inspired me to continue to write Books about the freedom we had to fight for everyday and the power of the people in this world. I cried many tears when i left Jamaica leaving my friends, I learned alot of life lessons at a young age of 18 when i traveled there...that was 20 years ago. This is not just an African struggle you see my brothers and sisters, this is a WORLD struggle from our government oppressing us and keeping us in the corners of the world. They do not want us to reunite, but it is evident we will do this and POWER TO THE PEOPLE I say. Love one another, be strong, keep your head up and ride on we are the Army of Freedom and everything Godly in this universe. We are going to be victorious, spirit, heart and soul people. Love one another .
