You have a great start here with You Tube. When I got into this in the early 1980s I had to wait for comps to come out and also buy these records recorded on cassette tapes. In 30 years I have one hell of a collection of a lot of these 45s on CD. Anything I don't have, I record from You tube.

Mmmmmm I love this kind of raw and honest garage rock. My hobby is to rediscover all those great bands that didn´t "broke through". It´s a fantastic musical treasure. Listen (Youtube) for example to THE ZETTLERS and their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah". Awesome!...with a bloody driving beat. And the Golliwogs and the song "Tell me". Check up the singer.......Yes, it´s him!!!

The group configuration in the picture reminds me of the Doors--without an organ, even though there is one in the song. In a few ways, this song is more sinister sounding than Morrison, Manzarek and Co.--this was a well done release, with a sad story about the original singer, to boot.

Speak Of The Devil - Things To Come [Los Angeles, California] - 1966 - "GOOD first impression. Very good raw Garage R&B vocals. Nice organ guitar work." - Garage Beat '66 Volume 6 - Speak Of The Devil... (sundazed)-2007. NOTE: If Mick Jagger was ever possessed by the Devil he would sound like this. :-)
