This song is simply about joyous gratitude, I think. What is fascist about great gratitude?I think shatchett0 must be deeply ungrateful or utterly confused, one of the two.

This song makes me feel SO ALIVE!!!!!! Thank you, Hothouse Flowers! I'm blessed and lucky to be alive and blessed and thankful to have discovered your music so many years ago, late 1980s, shy teenager....Your music makes the soul bloom!

Just a classic song, and a great, great album. They should have been much bigger than they were. They were excellent live too.

I have followed music since the 1950's. I discovered this band 2 months ago. I would rank this song in the top 50 of my alltime favorites list and rank the band in my top 10 groups along with The Beatles, Stones, Runrig and the Swedish band The Refreshments (my alltime favorite.) Love the song. Love the band. Better late than never.

I think the melody sounds like the Rolling Stones' "Saint of Me." Just sayin.

I've heard this many time but a couple of days ago and for whatever reason I really heard it and it moved me. It took me a while to find out who played it because I didn't know the name and thought it was the Talking Heads (he really sounds like David Byrne" (which is a compliment coming from me). Funny thing though is that I already had it in my iTunes and now I can't stop listening to it!
