Thumbs up for Thelma Houston, down for the kids who can't sing in tune.

I don't know who the brother @3:00 is, but he was channeling Teddy Pendergrass there.

Thelma, Thelma, another one of my old Motown Loves. Motown truly knew how to pick good singing females. I used to get dance orgasms on the floor when they played that song'. Think I'm going to have to pull up the disco version right now.

Thank you DivasAndDJs for posting this exciting video of Thelma Houston - "America's Got Talent". I remember viewing this finale performance on TV. Wow, this performance was incredible. I adored Ms. Houston's dress, shoes & hair. She is even more beautiful now and confident. I am moved by her extraordinary musical talents & gifts. Ms. Houston brings so much joy to others. Everyone is involved in her spectacular performance. God bless Ms. Houston with many more years of mesmerizing performances!

I loved this, with a few exceptions: Voices of Glory disappeared after the first 30 seconds; Kevin Skinner was way out of his league on this song, and Barbara Padilla looked rather uncomfortable; Drew Stevyns overdid it; and Lawrence looked like he was hitting on Thelma. But the part with the Fab Five dancing in front of Recycled Percussion was AWESOME!! And why was Grandma Lee's intro of Thelma edited out? It's not like she could do anything else in this number!

A pity this didn't factor into the outcome of the competition... the results would've definitely been different.
