This song, that is somewhat unheard of, was made by The Zombies back in the 1960s. I first heard it when a user called "1960suploader" put it on YouTube, but his account no longer exists. Since then, I've spent ages trying to find this fantastic version of the song. This is the rarer version, that sounds a lot better than all the other recordings. It just generally has a more powerful sound to it, as well as strings added.

The Zombies are a very underrated band! Go check them out! I simply love this song, and think it's better than their hit "She's Not There". I always take a nice, long trip down into memory lane when I hear this song, thinking of times when I (removed), as well as inspiring me to write some music... Which I'm currently recording and will release next year.

Nonetheless, enjoy the song! :)

I have the orginal version (stereo mix) and this one in my Zombies playlist. Fortunately, the orchestra doesn't get in the way of the Zombies' own work. I like both versions, so I put them in my Zombies playlist. Thanks for the upload.

It is simply stupid to compare The Zombies with Pink Floid. It is as comparing Beethoven with Vivaldi !!!!!

@johnj623 i wouldnt say that. Remember such bands as Buffalo Springfield, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Canned Heat, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Jimmi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and so on.

when I listen to contemporary rock and roll it all sounds so derivative...after all , my generation grew up with the real thing, the originators, bands like the Zombies and Kinks and Byrds and Beatles and Stones and Animals....everything today sounds like a copy of what went before....sort of embarrassing to hear

I wouldn't say Pink Floyd is better than the Zombies.., look how much longer Floyd was together...!! Floyd has alot of treasures and some junk in their music catalog. It's equally dumb when people argue Beatles & Stones. At the end of the day they were all brilliant in their own right !

The Zombies buried Pink Floyd.

@johnj623 I wouldn't go as far as saying The Zombies are the best band of the 60s. There were much better bands such as Pink Floyd.

I have to disagree that this version is the best. The undubbed version just KICKS, vocals are more rocknroll too. All that multitracking and strings kills the song for me. Same with Ill Call You Mine. But thats just taste. Glad people like it either version. For comparison check out the dubbed version of If It Don't Work Out--that I think is definitely better than the undubbed.
