In January 2011 The Zombies performed a superb set to 120 enraptured guests packed into Metropolis Studios in West London. Led by founder members Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent, the group performed a veritable 'Best Of' the Zombies (She's Not There, Time Of the Season, much of Odessey & Oracle) and Argent (Hold Your Head Up) as well as Colin Blunstone's solo work.

Available on CD/DVD and to download.

These guys are great performers, and Colin's a phenomenal singer. But the song has already outlived them, just as so many Garcia/Hunter songs have outlived the Grateful Dead. Bands, especially college bands, all over have this song in their playlists.

MIndboggling. I am a baritone trying to fudge the lead vocal through some falsetto bits and it is just almost impossible. I keep coming back to these live performances of Colin Blunstone and thinking, 'Well, I can't do that, but I can do something." For my two cents, he is one of the best pop singers of all time, and I include all of the genres from which popular radio has from time to time ~ from the beginning of radio ~ harvested its playlists.

Saw them in a dive in St Mary Street Cardiff a few years ago, same lineup apart from a different guitarist. Emotional night, Colin and Rod part of my youth and an honour to be standing only a few feet away from them. Spoke to them after and they didn't disappoint, friendly, polite and courteous. Special mention to bass player Jim Rodford's son on drums.

God almighty Colin Blunstone is amazing! Who would have thought a 68 year old rocker could still belt them out like this. Incredible.

This was such an innovative song. They had a distinct sound at a time when there were so many Beatle imitators. Loved this performance.
