Many Page apologists would like to defend Page saying something about the song's origins as an Irish folk song. However, Page lifted this from Davy Graham's 1962 recording "She Moved Through the Fair" almost note-for-note.And for that, Page had no legal right to claim it under another name, "White Summer". Further, Graham should have been paid royalties.
