Kills me that Mike Love gets a co-writing credit on this. Brian writes the rhythm, melody and the bass line. He wrote about 70 % of the lyrics. Love comes up with "She's giving me the excitations," and he is co-writer? Sh!t such as this makes him R&R's biggest asshole.

Carol may be the star of the show on California girls but less so on Good Vibrations. Although she played on a good few sessions for it. She didn't make the edit for the single on the verses (that is Ray Pohlman) or the chorus.
