As a newish listener to TWA (since Life Cycles), and a fan of both metal and punk, I have to say I really enjoy REAL, BUT, after reading reviews and comments regarding the new style change, I was curious and finally checked out Deceiver. And wow, what an album. So I can see how the long time fans expecting something like Deceiver to be released would be really pissed off over this. As a fan of both metal and punk, I enjoy the whole library from TWA, but I really do feel for the fans that are not into punk and the lighter, poppy style.
