Very well played. I cannot tell from the viewing angle-- did you tune the 3rd down to F# to do this?

On Sarge Gerbode's site you find at " Cutting " among composers an excellent lute version from the original. Best wishes,

Well, if you want an original of the entire lute tablature, just send me a message on my private box with your e-mail and I will send it back to you with pleasure. Best wishes,

Thanks for enjoying my efforts :) I've loved this tune ever since I first heard it (Bream's recording, 1973). Frustrated in my efforts to find the notation, I ended up working it out myself by ear, from Bream's recording. Took me many hours, but worth every minute. Whenever I give a public performance, I always begin with this work.

An original lute version by Francis Cutting who was an " amateur " and great lute composer in Dowland's times) exist. Plus some other pieces among which easy ones.As you play like Julian Bream, no problem. Because you have the " swing " and choose the best part. If you want to play the whole part which is very, very long, as Paul O'dette, it might become boring unless you manage to keep the swing. I just play a very easy short ancient version. Congratulations, deftly played.

@prrolg You'll find I've posted Bream's woods so wild with a pic of the green man somewhere on the tube - the good old days of innocent baroque'n'roll :o)

@key2kingdom Yes, I had purchased that record, vinyl of course and still have it. You did a wonderful job of it as I recognized it right away. Haha thank you very much. And I found your music through Amy McCan's channel who is a great musician as well. amccan7 on youtube.

@prrolg Thanks for enjoying :o) I worked out this arrangement from that very recording, on Bream's 1973 LP 'the Woods so Wild'. Tooks quite a while to work out - a labour of love.

@sackasilver Arcady is . . . . wherever we are most happy :o) and the piper at the gates? could be the God who plays the Pan pipes . .

Where is Arcady and who is the Piper at the Gates of Dawn? It sounds great and I believe he must be the true God of Rock so I must know more. Have a happy new year!
