Jesse's best work was written and recorded in exile in Montreal.Had a great band,mostly French Canadians,and people like Robbie Robertson and Joni Mitchell sitting in.Married a French girl,became a Canadian citizen,had kids,and began writing songs in French. His best albums--Learn To Love It,3rd Down 110 to Go,and Nothing But The Breeze,were all written and recorded there.2 of those records have French songs on them.
