#TheWho Take a little dopeAnd walk out in the airThe stars are all connected to the brainFind me a woman and lay down on the groundHer pleasure comes falling down like rainGet myself a car, I feel power as I flyOh now I'm really in controlIt all looks fine to the naked eyeBut it don't really happen that way at allDon't happen that way at all

I've got a question: I'm 16 years old and since 5 years I am only hearing bands like The Who, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Jimi Hendrix Expirience, etc. Is that strange?

I dont know what it is, but somehow those 3 chords Pete plays from 2:10 to 3:10 contain the meaning of life.

"You love bands when they play it hard"--Rebel Rebel. Ain't that the truth and nobody played it harder than the Who.

From all the footage I've seen of the Who this probably is their greatest concert. This was just as they were moving away from doing Tommy in its entirety and before they started work on what would become "Who's Next". The only problem I have with it is that its missing the second verse where Pete takes the lead on.

FRIDAY NIGHT SESSIONS

*The Who* *Naked Eye*The 70s had a lot of bands from the previous decade start turning an introspective eye on themselves and the industry that help spawn their stardom.Several years later Pete Townsend would write the spectacular *Who Are You*, as inspired by a meeting with Sid Viscious and Johnny Rotten, with zero overtones of the later association with criminal investigations.Your broad focusing host, +Andrew Coffman #aru #fns #live70s #thewho
