Love Zakk's playing!! Too much piano in this mix, not enough of the magnetic side of Pete's guitar.

The Who, Beatles, The Cream, Dire Straits, Queen are in a league of their own - Tier 1. U2, Stones, Pink Floyd etc are part of Tier 2.

The Who, live 2006 mit einem Song aus den 70ern .. einer der einfühlsamsten Songs von der Who's Next.

Absolutely nonsense. There are Pink Floyd, U2, Stones, Genesis (with Gabriel), The Clash and so many more....

like Daltery described their acts: "Keith was like a ball of wool and Pete and John the knitting needles and what resulted was a bloody good sweater for me to wear" :)

yeah.....they were the proverbial "Wall" of sound...no one sounded like em...Pete's chords flailing away, John's bombastic bass playing, and keith's undisciplined thunder...and lest i forget...Roger's beautiful singing....

i'd second that! The Who Live = an iconic, heavenly 4 piece act!!

@giobigez True, Zak Starkey is a great drummer. You can see the band respects him and lets him play, he is no "filler" musician. He is a member of the band. He plays with such energy and passion. VERY few could go out there & play Who songs.
