I looked this song up after watching The Magdalene Sisters. I looked it up because there was a wedding going on in the first scene where they palyed the song and I thought I caught some of the lyrics, but then I thought that would never be sung at a wedding or by a priest; unless it had some other meaning than what was first obvious. How ever when you hear the song in conjunction with watching the movie maybe the more obvious meaning could be accepted. The music and beat of the song are oddly catching, considering the lyrics are so.............OFF

Yes, and it does indeed answer your question "Why is she the one burning in her?". She murdered the children, and as I stated before 2 wrongs don't make a right. If it is true that her family 'attacked' her, then they must also be burning in hell, not only her. This song is about her, not them.

I agree with you, and I know saying that it was ridiculous that a young woman would do what I said, seduce her relatives. But don't you think it would be wrong for her relatives 'attacking' her as well? And in the song it does not suggest an attack happened, so... Your assumption is as good as mine of she murdered her children, and that was the point I was trying to get across. It's funny how you say she spent her life 'cleaning after them'. Hmm.. getting rid of the evidence of the 'attacks'.
