I had this song suddenly in my head. I recall singing it as a kid at a church once. After singing it a bit tonight, I asked myself, "Why ARE we marching to Pretoria, and where the heck IS it, anyway? And why were we singing it in church?" So when I heard the commentary midway through this recording, of course I laughed! Turns out the Weavers had the same question! Great rendition. I have always loved the Weavers (and Peter Paul and Mary, and the Smothers Brothers, etc, etc...). :)

Pretty good rendition., even tho the words are wrong. Oops sorry the song is in English not Afrikaans. :) Ja I grew up with this song, in S. Africa

I always admired the way they performed. You could always tell they really loved what they did. That's what got me drawn to The Weavers in the first place that and their politics
