I was at this gig and shame on the music fans of Derby, the place was empty. Despite that the Waterboys put on an awesome show. As good today as they were twenty six years ago in a packed Rock City, Nottingham and on many many occasions since. Simply one of the very best bands of all time. Salute!!!

SoulShockStar you are absolutely right. Mike Scott and these guys should by rights have been every bit as big as U2. It is amazing how sometimes the wonderful is right under your nose and you don't find it until 20 years later.
