I saw the Waterboys supporting Simple Minds in the old Roman amphitheatre in Frejus near Nice in the South of France back in the 80's. They were better than Simple Minds in my opinion but it was just a fantastic night. One of the best concerts in a magical setting and a night I'll never forget. I've still got the ticket.9 years ago
