This version of 'Virtual World' reminds me of the 'A Northern Soul' period sound. As much as I love 'A Storm in Heaven' it would be great to hear a different mix of the album with less effects & reverb etc like this live version.

@Maquiladora83 damn right,it's proberly one of the most innovating rock albums of all time.unfortunatly the verve is also one of the most digressing bands of all time and ended up some kind of crap cabaret band. but still storm in heaven is one of my fav rock albums of all time

OMG how different they looked. It's the first time I see footage from that time.Their music was so different and so better on their first two albums although they've gained success in 1997. And Richard looked so different on stage, the only thing that has remained since is the facial expression. Just an objective opinion from someone who is not a huge fan of The Verve or at least wasn't until now...
