I like the song, but I wish the band played it live and not just Ashcroft with an acoustic. If they wanted to pay homage to their first album they should have blasted out Already There

Good to know songs like this are appreciated, and also have a meaning to other people. Songs like this were not written, performed and recorded for charts, number 1's or to sell records. This is a real song, like so many verve 'b' sides. Songs like this have helped me at times, still do!

this song is in my top 5 for verve songs, but i like how mccabe plays the paino on the album version i think thats what makes the song..and the lyrics are beautiful
