Thanks for the reply. Pity, I'm quite fond of the darker sound that some of the tracks on Magnets were leaning towards. i didn't know Dave Fenton had recorded anything except his output with The Vapors. Don't suppose there are any links?

No it doesn't exist, i have everything that The Vapors and even David Fenton ever recorded but Red Flag was never actually properly recorded and the demo has gone for ever. From an interview i read a long time ago, the song was more along the lines of This song

Apparently The Vapors recorded a track called " Red Flag " for their 7th single, before the record company pulled the plug. Does anyone know if any recording of this song is out there, live or studio?

This is the single edit of the song. Correct speed. The verse vocals were recorded at a different speed, which makes it sound speeded up, but it's the same recording of the song. The album version is longer.
