This is a great release for RSD. It’s brilliant that the band have recorded a song for the day and not just repackaged old material like most of the other RSD releases. Also great to see that Damian is up there with his brother in song writing! I was up at 4am and queuing on Record Store Day to secure a copy. Not taking anything away from this great song the B side is just as good if not better (in my opinion). Just goes to show that the best band on the planet can still cut the mustard.

It has been a bizarre week. 3 days ago, was delighted to discover the 2002 documentary Peel made with the Undertones (I havent lived in the UK for almost 20 years). Been having flashbacks to that magic 1978-83 period when I was so in love (saw the Tones 9 times)...and then I woke up this morning and checked the band's website to realise that today is Record Store Day and there is a new one. Sounds great - sadly doesnt look like it is on sale in my local record store here in DC. Come on over!
