I thought that I was listening to dark and depressing music and then I discover these guys, incredible. I can't even stand listening to their songs for too long because I start to feel like my soul is being sucked through my ears and into the speakers. Amazing. @TheHumanWreckage So clueless! Listen to the bit at 1m42s and concentrate on that guitar. There's so much anguish in that melody, it's basically indescribable. Same goes for the intro to Walking For Two Hours. It's things like it that make this band stand out, not some accent that's shared by million others. By your standard then, every contemporary scottish band sounds amazing, considering they all sing with their accents nowadays. Pleaseeee. James has a great voice regardless.
