That's how it used to be. It's meaning has changed. Indie Rock can bee seen as a genre now. Bands like Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian and Kaiser Chief have a typical indie sound. Pop music used to stand for popular but some pop bands like Architecture in Helsinki or Best Coast aren't that popular. This song is definitly Shoegaze. Not that it matters that much. Great music is great music.

The twilight sad go together in 2003. I realize that the shoegazing genre was most popular in the 90's but this song was written in 2007 and that's what Hype679 was getting across.

Really like this band, saw these a few years ago supporting Snow Patrol along with Ash. They stuck in my mind more than Snow Patrol and I am always telling people about them, hope they do really well for themselves.
