To clarify~ The Tubes original members actually WERE from Phoenix/Scottsdale area in their formative years. They MOVED to the S.F. Bay Area in the late 60s in order to 'make it'. As for the music~ All I can say is fuck wow. How in the hell did Waybill perform so well technically to such difficult material, while engaging in such demanding theatrics? The word, 'talent', doesnt even begin to describe it. These guys could never have been any better and yet, they could have been even better. wtf?
