Wow! This is definitely the Triffids, in their prime, playing Monkey on My Back (live), but the audio is definitely directly transposed from the John Peel Radio Session of the song (later released on the "Field of Glass" EP.). Do you have the original audio that accompanied this video performance, or was the sound quality not very good? Either way... Great post. Thanks!12 years ago

Someone made a comment a while back on a Triffids clip (I can't remember which one) that the best was yet to come. If this video is what they were referring to, I could not agree with them more.
