ya Gord. Bought the re-released Fully Completely. Great inclusion of a Horseshoe night in 92 which I was fortunate to be in audience. so sad that Hip fans are silent. Just go listen to "Wheat Kings" my friends and tell me you don't cry, baby.

seen 'em dozens of times and hit me with a rhythm stick if I lie - this is their best song - true brilliance - and yes I love Cordelia and 100th and 50 mission. Loly Carp - nautical is genius.

First time I saw The Hip was 1988, in Broadway's Bar in the basement of the Fort Gary Hotel in Winnipeg, with a band called The Plasticine Replicas. I paid 3 dollars cover to get in. First song they played was Werewolf Baby. I have been hooked since that day. I have seen The Hip over 20 times in my life and they NEVER go out of style. Nowadays, when I hear a Hip song, it brings tears to my eyes because of all the fantastic memories of this piece of Canadian culture. Like playing 8 ball on their pool table in the back of their touring truck in 1989 at Sunfest in Gimli, Manitoba. Like seeing Roadside Attraction three years in a row. The list goes on and on. TRAGICALLY HIP FOREVER!

I still remember the version they did on SNL - absolutely brilliant. Too bad it's being pulled off YouTube.

The hip are one of those bands that can sound just as good as or better than their record when they play live

I first saw these guys at the Horseshoe, and then at the old Ontario Place pit (i am old). Love the entire band. First song I heard was "Last American Exit"....Wonderful artists, true to their roots and values and beliefs. And fucking awesome music.

It's on the That Night in Toronto concert DVD. Concert was in 2004 for the In Between Evolution tour. This is my favorite Hip song, and this is the best live version I've seen of it.

He's nuts (a great way)....but man I love his music. Got goosebumps at his vocals opening up this song. It's one of my favorite Hip tunes.
