+Alan, the pseudo-intellectual I think the same...i love Celtic Punk more than other punk...I don't know who was the first or not, but i like a lot the The tossers, Flogging Molly and Dubliners...I see something very little different in the other bands like The Mahones or The Pogues...maybe they are more punk and less celtic? Ahah i don't know...But sure, i see the big difference between Dubliners and all the bands i said before...Dubliners are Irish Traditional Music and the others are Celtic Punk...But if you love Ireland, you don't mind if it's Irish traditional music or Celtic ("Irish") punk...and I love IrelandP.s. sorry for my English, I'm from Italy!

I'm calling BS on the number of barrels of porter, I drank at least 20 before we set sail.

Why the hell does Clay's banjo sound distorted? This is from "Gloatin' & Showboatin'", right? It sounds weird.

Tony Duggins is one of the closest things to Shaney Mac that we'll probably see

People don't realize that The Tossers is an older band than DropKick Murphy's and Flogging Molly, it's not better or worse, but older. I like them all, Celtic is in my heart. I think The Pogues was the first Celtic Punk band, and then maybe Young Dubliners (more like Celtic Rock). From the new age of Celtic Punk is The Mahones and the Tossers I think these two were the first ones, but you know, Celtic Punk is so amazing no need discussions. The Dubliners rules! Rest in Peace Mr. Ronnie Drew.

The Dubliners and Pogues version is the best and the DropKick Murphys is the second, but the The Tossers goes well too.

I'm a huge fan of The Pogues, The Dubliners and The Tossers, but oh dear oh dear.... this is awful.
